Andrea + horses = true love. It all started at her baby shower with a rocking
horse cake. Her first Christmas she got a rocking horse and every special
occasion after that we add a horse to her collection. Way back then I never
thought she would ride a real live horse. Horses - you don't out grow them.
They become your life; your friends. Andrea is living her dream to the fullest.
Dreams do go on!

I can't believe I am in the pictures!!! Andrea looks like she is having a

I was so happy to see Hunter so excited after his ride. He was so anxious, but
it all faded with the good experience. It is thanks to all the wonderful
volunteers and Sue's determination. I believe we all have gifts, but many fail
to recognize them and utilize these strengths. It has been said that "every
person is my superior, and in that way, I learn of her/him". It is very humbling
to see how people give of their own time and patience to help others develop
their skills. Thank you all for the dedication! Ro (Hunter's Mom)& Joe--we love
our pictures--thanks!!!

The highlight of Andrea's week is her time with Sam. She and Sam have become great pals. It was so precious watching her ride last night. Several times during the ride she bent forward and kissed Sam and gave him a tender pat. Andrea has a difficult time building relationships -- riding at Dreams Go On has boosted her esteem -- she is forming many new friendships. This is a great experience for her. The volunteer team works on goals that have been developed by Andrea's teachers. This is a fun way to build skills and accomplish goals. Thanks to the many volunteers for helping Andrea and others lead a more enjoyable fulfilling life!

I love the website! I would love to help out with the program, but live too far
away. I have helped out at another therapeutic riding center (3.5 years) and
know how important all the different aspects of the program is, from the
volunteers to the horses to the riders.
